Marathon Consulting Announces Team Additions – 2023 Q2

Marathon Consulting, LLC, a Virginia-based Information Technology Consulting and Digital Marketing firm, today announced a recent expansion resulting in the addition of 10 team members. All of the new team members are assigned to clients local to Marathon offices, as well as Marathon clients across the US.

Bill J. – In May 2023, Bill joined Marathon as a seasoned Senior Application Development Consultant. With more than 25 years as a skilled full-stack programmer in both application and web development, he applies his knowledge to construct scalable, tailor-made web-based applications. Bill is a respected addition to Marathon's application development team, where he is assigned to the nation’s leading provider of foundation repair.

Carlos C. – Carlos joined Marathon in May 2023 as Director of Data Solutions. He has more than 10 years of experience working with SQL Server and in the Microsoft data space. Notably, Carlos founded SQL Data Partners, the database management consulting firm acquired by Marathon Consulting in May 2023. His firm specialized in the Microsoft data platform and provided enterprise-level database support services to clients in the Richmond region and beyond. The addition of Carlos and his team has allowed Marathon to expand upon our commitment of offering a comprehensive suite of data solutions services.

Chris R. – Chris is an accomplished Senior Application Development Consultant who joined Marathon in May 2023. With a track record of over 15 years in the industry, he excels in delivering solid IT solutions as a full-stack programmer specializing in web-based applications. His expertise and dedication make him a highly valued member of the application development team at Marathon, where he is assigned to the nation's leading provider of foundation repair.

Jake M. – Jake joined Marathon in May 2023 as an Information Technology summer intern where he will be working on several internal application development projects at the corporate headquarters. Jake is majoring in computer science and mathematics at Virginia Tech.

Benny R. – Benny joined Marathon in May 2023 as an Information Technology summer intern where he will be working on several internal digital marketing projects at the corporate headquarters. Benny is majoring in computer information systems at James Madison University.

Andy Y. – Andy joined Marathon in May 2023 as a Data Solutions Consultant. A data analytics professional with a solid background in predictive analytics and machine learning, he is experienced in research, data collection, and technical data analytics. He takes a human-centered approach to innovation that integrates the needs of people, the possibilities of technology, and the requirements for business success to deliver meaningful and actionable insights in a consultative client environment. Andy is currently assigned to a multi-state financial lender.

Isaac S. – Isaac joined Marathon in May 2023 as a talented Application Development Consultant. With more than a decade of experience in Microsoft full-stack development, he is proficient in a wide range of frameworks, languages, and technologies. Notably, his expertise encompasses C#/F#, ASP.NET, and mobile and cloud-based development. Isaac is a highly valued member of Marathon's application development team where he is assigned to a large nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the educational needs of professionals.

Gerald C. – Gerald is a skilled Senior Application Development Consultant who joined Marathon in May 2023. With a track record of over 20 years of experience in Microsoft full-stack development, he possesses proficiency across a range of frameworks, languages, and technologies. Of note, his expertise includes C#, MVC, and SQL Server. Greg H. – Greg joined Marathon in May 2023 as a Senior Application Developer. He hold over 20 years of experience in software application development for startups and enterprise businesses. Greg has successfully exited 2 startups and is now enriching Marathon's application development team with his skills in C#.NET. He is currently assigned to an online audio and video transcription software company.

Jason P. – Jason joined Marathon in June 2023 as a Senior Digital Marketing Strategist. With over 15 years experience in SEO, paid search, analytics, content strategy, and MarTech, he combines technology, analytics, content, and marketing strategies to enable businesses to thrive in their digital marketing efforts. Jason's knowledge and skills make him a highly valued member of Marathon's Digital Marketing team, where he is working with multiple clients.
