Marathon Consulting Takes Second Spot in Monarch Bank’s “Top Flight” Contest

Marathon Consulting, LLC, a Virginia Beach-based provider of Information Technology solutions and Internet Marketing services, announced it won 2nd place in Monarch Bank's "Top Flight" contest. The contest rewarded 3 growing small businesses in Hampton Roads. Marathon was awarded a cash and services package valued at $15,000. The package included $5,000 in cash, $5,000 in business services provided by Cherry Bekaert, LLP, a $5,000 promotional package from Cox Media, and legal educational services from Vandeventer Black, LLP. The 3 finalists were selected from over 200 applicants by a jury comprised of local business leaders. An online "election" was then conducted among the public to determine the final placement of the winners. Diaper Junction, an online retailer of cloth diapers, took 1st prize and Homeland Contracting took 3rd.
