Marathon Consulting Honored as a 2026 Top Workplace in Hampton Roads

Virginia Beach, VA – Marathon Consulting, LLC, a Virginia-based Information Technology Consulting and Digital Marketing firm, has been named a 2026 Top Workplace in Hampton Roads by Virginia Media and Inside Business, marking the 11th time the company has earned this recognition. This year, Marathon ranked 1st in the Midsize Companies category, earning the top spot based on employee feedback. The award is based entirely on confidential employee feedback collected through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC.

Marathon Consulting was also recognized with a Top Workplaces special award for new ideas, highlighting the company’s strength in fostering an environment where employees are encouraged to embrace new ideas and approaches.

Unlike awards based on applications or nominations, Top Workplaces recognition is earned through employee feedback. The confidential survey measures employees’ experiences across areas including leadership, meaningfulness, appreciation, communication, and opportunities for growth. For the 2026 Top Workplaces list, 77 organizations participated in the employee survey, with 67 earning recognition as Top Workplaces in Hampton Roads.
