Paid Advertising (PPC) Specialist
Marathon Consulting is seeking a Paid Advertising Specialist to support our Performance Marketing team on paid search, social, and programmatic campaigns for our clients. This entry- to mid-level role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of digital advertising experience who is eager to grow, learn, and collaborate in a fast-paced multi-client setting.
As a Paid Advertising Specialist, you will work closely with Senior Strategists to build, launch, and monitor multi-channel digital campaigns. You’ll assist with campaign creation, support ongoing optimizations, and contribute to performance reporting to help drive strong results for our clients.
This position is a great fit for someone who is technically skilled, detail-oriented, and looking to deepen their knowledge across platforms like Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Simpli.fi.

Responsibilities:
- Campaign Support: Assist advertising strategists with building and launching campaigns in Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Simpli.fi.
- Campaign Optimization: Monitor campaign performance and provide support in optimizing bids, audiences, budgets, and creatives based on data.
- Keyword Research: Conduct keyword research to inform paid search strategies.
- Ad Copywriting: Help draft compelling ad copy aligned with performance goals and brand tone.
- A/B Testing: Assist in developing and analyzing A/B tests across ad components and landing pages.
- Analytics & Reporting: Pull performance data and assist in compiling client-facing reports with actionable insights.
- Best Practices: Stay up to date with the latest trends, platform updates, and advertising best practices.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with SEO specialists, designers, and developers to ensure campaign alignment and execution.
Requirements:
- Experience: 1–2 years of paid search experience, ideally in an agency or multi-client setting.
- Platforms: Hands-on experience with Google Ads (Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Microsoft Ads, programmatic, or SEO a plus).
- Tools: Familiarity with Google Analytics and reporting dashboards (e.g., Looker Studio).
- Skills: Detail-oriented with strong communication and time management skills.
- Certifications: Google Ads and GA4 certifications are a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or related field.
- Other: Valid driver’s license.
