Marathon Consulting Announces Strategic Organizational Changes and Promotions

Virginia Beach, VA. – Marathon Consulting, LLC, a Virginia-based Information Technology Consulting and Digital Marketing firm, today announced a series of strategic organizational changes aimed at strengthening its leadership structure and supporting continued growth and innovation.

As part of this initiative, Marathon has added new leadership roles and promoted talent from within—steps that support the company’s long-term goals, encourage stronger collaboration, and reflect its commitment to growing both the business and its people.

Newly created roles and recent promotions include:

Todd Neff, Director of Digital Solutions – Moving forward in his new role, Todd will channel his passion for excellence into spearheading innovative digital solutions, as well as leading enhanced service and support initiatives for Marathon's clients. Todd joined Marathon's Digital Marketing team in 2015 as an Enterprise Project Manager with over 25 years of IT project management experience, and since that time, has successfully managed and delivered over 200 projects for a diverse set of clients within industries including transportation, state and local government, real estate, manufacturing, and financial services.  

Todd served in the United States Navy for nine years before beginning his career in IT project management. He holds a master's degree in management information systems from the University of Virginia and a bachelor's degree in computer systems analysis from Miami University. 

 John Hadzima, Director of Application Solutions – In this position, John will lead the custom application development branch of Marathon's service offerings with a focus on standardizing and enhancing the organization's estimating and development practices. His efforts will ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality, client-focused solutions. John joined Marathon in 2014 as a Senior IT Consultant and has since held key technical and leadership roles, including Application Solutions Architect and Team Lead.

With over 30 years of experience in the IT industry, John brings deep expertise as a senior software developer, development lead, programmer, analyst, and IT manager. He holds a BSBA in information systems from Old Dominion University and has earned multiple Microsoft certifications, including MCP, MCAD, MCSD, and Azure Developer Associate. He also served as a co-organizer for the Hampton Roads .NET Users Group. 

Erin Mullinax, Marketing and Experience Manager – In her new role, Erin will develop and drive innovative marketing strategies for Marathon in collaboration with the leadership team to shape and support organizational growth through brand awareness, client experience, industry events, and educational content.

Erin joined Marathon in 2013 as a UX Designer with a versatile background of experience, including communication, art, photography, web design, and front-end development. She has over 25 years of experience working in IT and marketing and has held key leadership roles within Marathon including, UX Architect and Team Lead. Erin holds a UX certification from the Nielsen Norman Group.
