Labor Finders Website Redesign & Umbraco Implementation

Labor Finders is an honest and dependable staffing company that puts 20,000 Americans to work every day. Founded in 1975, Labor Finders matches skilled workers in a wide range of industries with employers in their nationwide network of almost 200 locally-owned and operated offices.

Labor Finders set out to replace their current Umbraco website with a new site that focused on simplifying their mission to match the best worker for each position available. After interviewing a dozen website development firms, Labor Finders chose Marathon Consulting, an Umbraco Gold Partner with a track record of success in implementing large, complex Umbraco websites.

Marathon’s UX expert focused on designing an easy-to-use, intuitive user interface for Labor Finders' customers, which include both job seekers and employers looking for temporary staff. The website is integrated with Labor Finder’s internal systems so that all job postings are updated in real time, allowing new jobs to show up on the website instantly. Speed and performance were important for the website, especially on responsive views, as a large portion of job seekers access the Labor Finders website from mobile devices on cellular networks.
