Marathon Consulting Develops ODU Game Stats iPad Application for Luxury Suites

November 12, 2010

Marathon Consulting, LLC, a Virginia Beach-based provider of Information Technology solutions, announced today the release of inGame Stats, a software product designed to display real-time sports statistics on the Apple iPad device. Working in close cooperation with Old Dominion University and Global Spectrum, Marathon designed and built the application to display detailed game statistics to courtside spectators. The launch coincides with the Old Dominion University men's and women's 2010 - 2011 basketball seasons. Initially, the application will be provided to spectators in the 16 Ted Constant Convocation Center Luxury suites. A 2011 launch is scheduled for the football season, during which the application will be made available in the 24 suites at S.B Ballard Stadium.

"We are very pleased to have the opportunity to work with Old Dominion's athletic department, Office of Computing and Communication Services, and Global Spectrum," said Al Moore, President of Marathon Consulting. "Global and ODU OCCS provided the iPads and other infrastructure components, while we focused on developing the software. In addition to providing statistics on each player, the product displays real-time play-by-play to those fans who want to drill down on the action," continued Moore.
