Marathon Consulting Announces Team Additions – 2025 Q1

Virginia Beach, VA. – Marathon Consulting, LLC, a Virginia-based Information Technology Consulting and Digital Marketing firm, today announced a recent expansion resulting in the addition of 3 team members. All of the new team members are assigned to clients local to Marathon offices and across the U.S.

The new employees include the following individuals:

Alex R. – Alex is a Web Technology Consultant at Marathon Consulting with a background in full-stack development and a degree in software engineering from Iowa State University. He specializes in C#, .NET, JavaScript, and SQL, with experience spanning e-commerce, IT, retail, and automotive industries. Alex has delivered web solutions for clients using technologies like React, Java, and Umbraco, and previously supported projects at ICG and R & D Industries. He’s also competed nationally in algorithmic programming and led successful academic and freelance projects focused on responsive design and data-driven features.

Carlton C., MPA, PMP, SPC – Carlton is a seasoned Enterprise Business Technology Consultant with extensive experience in IT program management, business analysis, and strategic planning across healthcare, finance, government, and tech sectors. Known for his leadership in large-scale transformations and agile delivery, Carlton has led cross-functional teams, implemented enterprise systems, and driven continuous process improvement. He brings over two decades of experience aligning technology initiatives with business goals, with certifications in SAFe, Scrum, ITIL, and project management. Carlton has also served in civic leadership roles, contributing to economic and community development in Hampton, VA.

Emma A. – Emma is a results-driven Data Solutions Consultant with expertise in data analysis, reporting, and visualization across healthcare and public policy sectors. Skilled in developing data-driven insights using Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and SAS, she has a proven track record of improving service efficiency, guiding strategic decisions, and delivering high-impact reports. Emma has successfully led analytics projects supporting public health initiatives, state legislation, and evidence-based interventions. She excels in quality assurance, trend analysis, automating reporting solutions to drive operational success, and will be joining Marathon Consulting on strategic initiatives.
